What is involved in the ordering process?

Semi-Custom cabinetry will take 4-8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the order.  Fully custom cabinetry takes 8 to 12 weeks, as each cabinet is manufactured to order.

How long does a renovation actually take?

Once the cabinetry arrives, the renovation process typically takes from 3 to 4 weeks.  Tear-out usually takes one day and cabinetry installation takes up to 10 days. Then countertop templates are created, the countertop is fabricated, and countertop installation occurs within 10 work days.

What is included in my price?

Generally, our quotes include tear-out, cabinetry, hardware (knobs and pulls), and cabinetry installation.  However, we are flexible and will quote the services you request.

If you are comparing our quote to a quote from another company, look closely at the details.  There are many different choices that will affect the quote.  Make sure you are comparing the same type of material, type of finish, cabinet construction, and extra features (such as soft-close doors & drawers).  It is important to know what you are getting for the investment that you are making in your kitchen.

Should I get all plywood construction?

Unless you anticipate that the cabinets will be exposed to a lot of moisture or very hi humidity, cabinets that are partially made of hi-grade particle board can be a good value and can last a long time.  However, if particle board is exposed to a lot of moisture it will crumble.  Plywood will stand up to hi humidity better, and you may feel that it is worth the extra money to go with all plywood construction.

Are counter tops included in my price?

We usually quote countertops separately.  Countertops come in a wide range of materials including wood, glass, tile, concrete, and stainless steel.  However, most of our customers prefer either quartz or granite countertops.

Is there a way of lowering the cost of the project?

There are many things that can be done.  The same design can be used with less expensive materials, door styles, and/or finishes.  You may decide that the convenience of certain high-end features and add-ons do not merit the additional cost.
